Note from Caretaker:  I was given the BEST gifts from Hawaii for taking care of Tarzan and Jane.  Both cats were a pleasure!

After a long and arduous journey, our parents are almost home (almost entering Florida)!  We will be very happy to see them!

BRUSH ME!

Our parents are late coming home.  They've been on a plane now for about 300 hours.  They are almost on the last leg of their journey.

But, me?  I've got bigger issues.  I have people here cleaning my house (it's not dirty!), and I have no where to go.  I guess I will have to go in the room with caretaker, but, I really want to be in my chair sleeping!

What's taking them so long to clean?

I guess I will have to be content here for a while!

Well, I finally found a comfy, quiet spot to get away from vacuum cleaner noise!  But, I don't really know if I'm allowed to be in this room!  So far, nobody's asked me to leave!

I am making the most of my last night with caretaker. We are watching TV together on the couch.  I am very happy!

This is my sad face.  I am sad to see caretaker go.  She was very nice to me, despite the fact that I am a bit of a spoiled cat!  She took good care of us!

And, I can't believe I never could convince her to let me out!

I had caretaker eating out of the palm of my paw.  She was in the kitchen, when I summoned her to come scratch my back (which she did).  She was so easy!

This is our last day with caretaker.  We will miss her, but we will be happy to see our parents back home!

Can you tell by the look on my face how mad I am?  Again, I was sleeping in my chair when I am disturbed by getting my treatment.

Sweet revenge!!  I'll teach them to wake a sleeping cat!

I just like to get a little rest in my bed, and this crazy caretaker keeps disturbing me!  I'm not in love with the camera like my sister is.  I can't be bothered. 

I can, however, be bought.  All it takes is a cat treat or brushing and that lures me out of my hideaway!

Oh yeah, baby!   Bring on the cat treats!

I love caretaker!  So much so that I snuggled up next to her tonight while she was on the couch!  Obviously, I have forgiven her for rousting me out of bed so early this morning!

Oh, I am so mad.  I was rousted out of bed early on a Sunday morning to get my treatment. What a way to start your day!!  I'm back in bed now and I'm going to stay here all day!

Me?!  I'm glad I don't get those treatments! 

 I like to sleep in on Sunday mornings!

I like to sit by caretaker in the mornings when she is on her computer -- in the hopes that she will put away the stupid computer and come scratch my back!!  What could she be doing on that computer that is more important than ME?

In honor of Friday the 13th, here is a scraggly-looking black cat intruder in my yard!  He needs to get busy on the self-grooming!

Look, if I was ill-behaved tonight when my friend came to give me my fluids, I had good reason.  I was awoken from a good sleep on my pillow and got a needle in my back!!  Who wouldn't be mad??

 

But, all is well now and I'm tucked in for the night!

Caretaker is the BEST.   She got me this great scratching post.  I LOVE it!  I am guarding it with my life!
